Berkeley Rides for Seniors & the Disabled (BRSD)

Taxi scrip/van vouchers are used for rides provided by designated taxicabs and our accessible wheelchair van service provider. BRSD also has a partnership with GoGoGrandparent, a call center that arranges free rides with Uber and Lyft.
*Note: These rides are offered on a limited basis to currently registered BRSD riders.

East-Bay Paratransit

For those in need UNDER the age of 70 or those who need to use a van with a wheelchair lift or ramp, and are and are not yet East-Bay Paratransit certified, please apply on their website or by calling (510) 287-5000.

Click here to download a copy of the English language ADA Application plus the instructions you will need, depending on whether you are a new applicant for service or a recertifying applicant. There are other languages, Spanish and Chinese if needed. After you complete the ADA application, call their office at (510) 287-5000 and select option 5 to set up your interview. Alternatively, you can call or email Certification.EastBayPT@transdev.com to request an ADA application and instructions.
